| Anchor Consulting Service had the privilege of presenting the findings from the Organisational Capacity Assessment (OCA) and Technical Capacity Assessment (TCA) for 12 universities and 9 civil society organisations (CSOs) under the EU Legal Aid Basket Fund. Held on 10 April 2025 at the Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa, the event was part of a collaborative initiative led by the Centre for Justice (CJ), with support from UNODC and the European Union. The assessments focused on identifying key capacity development needs to enhance the operational effectiveness of legal aid service providers, particularly in improving access to justice for vulnerable groups, including women, youth, and detainees. In response to these findings, Anchor Consulting Service will be delivering tailored training sessions in financial management, resource mobilisation, sustainability, and project cycle management, aligning with EU procedures. Our goal is to ensure that legal aid providers meet EU standards while fostering long-term operational sustainability. We are proud to contribute to building resilient systems that ensure equitable access to justice for all. |
